The seat cover is UV stable as is the thread, so it will not fade in the sun. High density foam sewn in improves rider fatigue Please note! Our materials are waterproof, but seat covers with padding, such as the tuck and roll, and diamond stitch designs should be covered if you expect snow or heavy rain to keep the seat cover dry. A discounted rain cover is available with the purchase of this seat cover.
No staples or tricky assembly is required with our seat covers. No tools of any kind are required, and you can easily remove the cover whenever you like. You can staple the cover on if you prefer!
1. Quality is excellent.
2. Easy to install. I have tightened it twice as it breaks in. One more will be required.
3. Comfort is improved.
4. I purchased the scooter used in fall 2023. It had less than 500 miles so it was not broken in. It is generally used for commuting and errands. Owner sites indicated that the extra firm seat would break in with time. This is true but I wanted a little more cushion, which the seat cover provides. What I did not expect was the change in the rider triangle. I am 5'11" which on the large side for this scooter. I previously would push against the "hump" when I rode but felt the scooter was comfortable. Removing the hump allowed some more space. This opened the rider triangle and has improved comfort and control of the scooter dramatically. I understand that this issue is limited to this particular scooter but I highly recommend the seat cover for average to large riders.
